How do I apply for Internet Banking?
Before you are able to access Internet Banking, you must become a registered user of the service via our telephone registration service.
After we've opened your RBonline account, you'll receive your account details from us. For your protection, you will need to contact Internet Banking Support Services by phoning 1300 660 115 during:
Monday to Friday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
You will be issued with a temporary PIN which will need to be changed at your first Internet Banking login.
Who do I contact if I have any questions or comments regarding the Internet Banking Service?
If you encounter any problems with the service, or if you have any queries, you can contact Rural Bank Internet Banking Support Services by phoning 1300 651 839. A banking consultant will be more than happy to speak with you.

What details are required to make payments to another person's, or business' account?
You will need the following information to make a payment to another person's account using the Pay Anyone service:
- the BSB number - Six digits in length, the BSB number identifies the bank and branch of the payee's bank account;
- the account number - This is the payee's account number, that is, where you want the payment to go; and
- the account name - this is the title of the payee's account, where you are sending the payment.
It is advisable to let the payee know you will be sending them a payment using Internet Banking, as this will help the payee identify your payment.
Please take care to ensure you input all the correct account details as other institutions will reject the transfer if the account number is incorrect.
What are security tokens and where can I find more information?
A security token is a small device that provides a second level of authentication for your Rural Bank Internet Banking service and is used in conjunction with your Access Number and PIN. You can find more information about security tokens under the Security section.
