What terms are available?
You can choose from 3, 6 or 12 month terms.
Can I withdraw funds prior to the maturity of my RBonline Term Deposit Account?
Withdrawal prior to the maturity of your RBonline Term Deposit is at the Bank's discretion and subject to an interest reduction. For more information see the RBonline Term Deposit Account Terms and Conditions.
How do I make an opening deposit?
To make an opening deposit, you will need to include a cheque together with your application
What happens at maturity of my RBonline Term Deposit?
Prior to maturity of your RBonline Term Deposit Account you will receive a letter from us. If you wish to vary your RBonline Term Deposit Account you will need to return instruction to us. If we receive no instructions from you, your balance will be rolled into an RBonline Term Deposit Account for the same term at the prevailing interest rate.
Do I need to be identified?
If you have already been suitably identified by Rural Bank, there is no need to do so again. If you are a new customer, you will need to complete an Identity Verification Form.
